Ministry of Defence - 1996 to 2007:

Director General Logistics (Land) - 2002 to 2007

Web Designer/Developer

  • Responsible for the design, development and management of the Director General Logistics (Land) intranet.
  • I have developed several database driven applications using Dreamweaver MX/Ultradev.
  • I provide a help desk service to approximately 30 web authors around the country.

Equipment Support (Land) - 1999 to 2002

Web Designer

  • Responsible for improving web sites for business teams within the Equipment Support (Land) organisation on the organisational intranet.
  • Provided consultation to business areas on methods of best practice in web design.
  • Designed new web sites for business areas without sites.
  • Created Flash animations for several web sites.

Army Technical Support Agency - 1996 to 1999

Web Author

  • Created web pages for the Army Technical Support Agency’s intranet, mainly using Microsoft Frontpage and HTML.
  • Assisted in the initial set up of intranet with the graphical design of the site.
  • Optimised photographs for use on the web.
  • Responsible for designing a new layout for the intranet.

Central Drawing Issuing Authority - 1991 to 1996

  • I was given various roles within the drawings department, which mainly consisted of general administrative and data entry tasks.
